Providence Health & Services Coordinator Client Support Services in Valdez, Alaska
Providence is calling a Coordinator Client Support Services (Mental Health SVC DMHDD, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Valdez Counseling Center in Valdez, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is a full time, day shift in our Mental Health Services department.
In this position you will:
Assist the Manager to promote smooth operation of the Counseling Center by utilizing creative problem solving skills and assisting with projects in a timely manner as requested by the Manager.
Be responsible for daily administrative and clerical operations in support of the clinic Includes welcoming clients and assisting clients in reporting to the admissions office.
Assist in gathering and entering information for quarterly grant reports and other weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
Be responsible for client records, includes answering any record request including subpoenas from the court and orders for guardian ad litem. Collect agency AKAIMS, CSR, and other data to meet State of Alaska submission requirements. Assist the Manager in collection and entry of statistical information for in-house analysis.
Provide ongoing public relations of the Providence Valdez Counseling Center to various agencies and organizations in the community of Valdez. Coordinate monthly meeting and other agency activities and trainings.
Be responsible for preparing, submitting and recording information for the Providence Valdez Advisory Council meetings.
Coordinate or create marketing materials, including but not limited to special events, print media, advertising, displays.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
4 years administrative or secretarial experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of college
1 year experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology
