Providence Health & Services Manager Clinical - Home Healthcare in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Clinical Nursing Manager for Home Healthcare at Providence Home Health in Anchorage, Alaska.
In this position you will:
Coordinate the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and care model.
Focus on daily operations and coordination of team activities to ensure high quality patient care and cost effective services.
Assist with business plans, and clinical and resource utilization.
Interface with other agency personnel, physicians, payers, and discharge planners to ensure effective teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
Current State of Alaska license in one of the following areas: Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Therapist
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Valid Alaska Driver’s License
2 years clinical experience in area of clinical specialty
1 year home health experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
If candidate is a graduate of nursing school, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
1 year of clinical supervisory, management or resource experience in the assigned technical or professional area
Knowledge of home health care philosophy, goals, regulatory guidelines, criteria and limitations
