Providence Environmental Services Office Assistant in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling an Environmental Services Office Assistant (Environmental Services, Nights, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. In this position you will:
Telephone/Dispatch: Answer all incoming telephone calls. Dispatch dismissal cleaning personnel and other miscellaneous duty personnel.
Cleaning and Stocking: Clean office and storeroom area. Stock storeroom and advises Environmental Services management team of the need to replenish supplies. Order intra-hospital supplies according to established Environmental Services and hospital policy and procedures.
Receptionist: Act as departmental host and receptionist for visitors.
Supply and Equipment Control: Maintain and through supervisory personnel, enforce use of Environmental Services supply and equipment sign-out/sign-in system. Notify supervisory personnel of supply or equipment problems.
Employee Reporting: Monitor employee check-in/check-out procedures, answer minor employee questions regarding same, and notify supervisory personnel of violations of established policy and procedure.
Records/Logs: Maintain various operational records and logs as directed by the Environmental Services management team.
Administrative Duties: Process general correspondence and typing for the Environmental Services management team. Maintain office files. Process purchasing documents. Handle administrative portion of departmental employee personnel processing. Handle miscellaneous office administrative tasks as directed by the Environmental Services management team.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in administrative support and/or healthcare
Experience in Hospital Environmental Services
Knowledgeable of computers, and programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
Office coordinator experience
