Patient Guide II (CNA) Providence Forest View

Provides personal services to patients to maintain and increase the greatest level of functioning, independence, and recovery. These personal services include all activities of daily life.

Required qualifications:

  • Current State of Alaska Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant

  • Basic Life Support

  • Must satisfy State of Alaska Licensing, Assisted Living Homes background records and fingerprint check criteria

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the area of transitional and/or long term care

About Forest View

Forest View is a short stay, supportive care facility. License by the State of Alaska as an Assisted Living Home, Forest View is located in Building S of the Providence Health Park on Piper Street. Forest View will provide a supportive, residential environment for clients requiring a variety of home health services for a short period of time. These clients will transition to their own homes, and may continue in-home therapies, prior to transferring to outpatient care. At Forest View, Patient Guides work in coordination with Registered nurses to offer comfort, monitor pain levels, perform vital signs and care for patients, as needed, following the patients plan of care and completes tasks as assigned.
