Senior IS Program Manager, Clinical Engineering - Enterprise Information Services - remote within the Providence footprint of locations (WA, OR, CA, AK, MT, NM, TX)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Engineering Program Manager to lead our efforts to modernize and standardize clinical engineering processes across our large healthcare organization. As the Clinical Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing initiatives that optimize the performance of clinical engineering services while driving operational efficiency. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and leverage your experience in healthcare to ensure that our clinical engineering practices are industry leading.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical engineering program that improves the performance of our clinical equipment while driving operational efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize clinical engineering processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to optimize clinical engineering operations.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the success of the program.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and identifying opportunities for ongoing optimization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and maintain strong communication throughout the program lifecycle.
Manage risks and issues, and take corrective action as needed to keep the program on track.
Build strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and external stakeholders to stay up-to-date with industry trends and standards.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
7 years of Information Services/Information Technology and/or Healthcare Industry experience.
7 years of experience in the project/program management field.
1 year of relevant PPMO portfolio experience (e.g. EMR, Business Applications, M&A, Infrastructure, etc.).
Expertise and experience with Project Management methodology based upon project management principles, including experience implementing and facilitating complex decision-making structures among multiple executive stakeholders with varied interests and priorities.
Demonstrated experience as a speaker in a professional presentation environment, such as conferences and association meetings.
Experience with vendor/contract management and negotiations.
Development and execution experience with business development, marketing, communications, financial planning, and benchmarks/metrics in support of improved quality and process design.
Preferred qualifications:
5+ years of experience in clinical engineering program management, with a proven track record of successful program delivery.
Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of medical equipment, clinical engineering processes, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead transformational initiatives.
