Providence Health & Services Revenue Cycle Senior Program Manager in Alaska
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Revenue Cycle Senior Program Manager to work remotely within our footprint states.
We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Senior Program Manager who will The Revenue Cycle Sr. Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that their projects are aligned with the strategic and budgetary goals of Revenue Cycle. The Sr. Program Manager works with the business owners to identify projects, coordinate with key resources to evaluate the project benefits, and prepare the project proposals for submission to Revenue Cycle Strategic Governance. He/she is responsible for determining their assigned business area's project priorities based on the overall RC strategic portfolio. The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for the execution, implementation, and communication of the project with cross functional leaders, IT resources, and the RC Senior Management team. It is expected that the Sr. Program Manager utilizes established PMP guidelines in their program management delivery. Each project that the Sr. Program Manager is responsible for should be included on the business area's road map, be aligned with the business area's objectives, and support the business owner's strategic goals.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for advising, consulting, and/or managing high priority and cross-functional projects and programs in intake to achieve strategic goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and revenue cycle stakeholders in order to build best practices, standardization, and drive transformation change.
Collaborate and communicate with operational pillars and revenue cycle strategic partners to accomplish project intake objectives.
Assess scope requirements and translate into resource and cost estimates including developing a timeline and request for funding.
Proactively inform and influence others in order to maintain a balance between business needs, financial requirements and budgets, and project strategy and standards.
Build support to influence decisions in order to work towards common objectives.
Perform data analysis on complex issues to assist business owners in the evaluation of potential solutions.
Act as a coach and mentor to others, including operational leaders in support of best practices for completion of thorough project proposals.
Maintain project artifacts related to project idea and initiation phases, including scope documents, risk register, benefits register, high-level milestones.
Identify and document metrics for project and program performance, working in partnership with Finance and Data Insights.
Manage customer expectations for timelines and deliverables throughout the project intake cycle.
Develop workflows, flow charts, and other process documentation.
Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.
Conduct seamless hand-offs to the Revenue Cycle PMO for project delivery.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or equivalent education/experience.
Coursework/Training Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificcate or equivalent education/experience.
Project Management Professional. CAP or other change management certification or training.
7 years wxperience in managing programs of high priority business initiatives including managing multiple projects to achieve identified project portfolio objectives.
5 years experience in a healthcare organization.
A track record in developing and implementing business process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies and software.
Track record in managing multiple business projects to successful completion including: scoping, scheduling, budgeting, status management and reporting.
Track record in taking initiative, working with minimal supervision and being self directed and highly motivated in all work activities.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training Lean, CAP, Six Sigma.
Lean or Six Sigma certification or training.
Experience in Revenue Cycle.
