Providence Health & Services Program Manager Transformation Management Office (TMO) in Alaska
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Program Manager Transformation Management Office (TMO) based out of our location in Beaverton, Oregon. This role is remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, MT or TX.

We are seeking a Program Manager Transformation Management Office (TMO) to provide program management services in support of the Transformation Management Office and organization. The position will play a key role in the facilitation and successful delivery of large, complex projects and multiple related projects throughout the organization. Manages all aspects of projects and programs with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor and Transformation Management Office leadership. Ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Providence Mission, organizational standards, and aligns with the strategic plan.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Understand the needs of the business - work with the business stakeholders to understand their strategies and initiatives.
Manage projects and program with increased complexity and strategic priority.
Understand our Healthcare Industry - Keep abreast of the healthcare industry developments and trends. Understand how PHP can leverage industry knowledge and tools.
Manage client expectations throughout the complete project life-cycle.
Provide scope, risk, and issue management.
Coordinate and track the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies, and schedule.
Develop, initiate, and manage communication plan.
Identify, deliver, and document organizational, application, and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project.
Proactively inform and influence others in order to maintain the balance required between business needs, project partner strategy and standards, and financial requirements and budgets.
Build and manage multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and/or work teams.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
Five (5) years experience leading complex projects
Experience facilitating complex decisions among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Formal training in Program Management
Process Improvement and Change Management training and experience
Experience with vendor / contract management and negotiation
Experience developing and implementing benchmarks and metrics in support of improved quality and process design
Project Management Professional certification
