Providence Health & Services Manager Product Development in Alaska
Providence Health Plan is calling a Manager Product Development to our location in Portland, OR. This position will be remote and may pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of some in office and remote. We are seeking candidates that are available in commute/ travel distance to the office in Portland, OR as needed. This role is open to the footpront of Providence in AK, WA, OR, CA, MT and TX.

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Development team, primarily accountable for the growth, innovation and success of our Medicare line of business. Responsibilities include management of the Medicare Senior Health portfolio: Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Dual Eligible products. Responsibilities include market research and competitive analysis, strategic growth initiatives, and product life-cycle management from market introduction to obsolescence. This individual will be charged with driving innovative product strategies to improve the health and quality of life of our senior members. Work will include facilitating multiple cross functional teams to drive product development and may include management of strategic partnerships. The product manager will also facilitate multiple cross functional teams to drive product development decisions and implementation.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead product development efforts for the Medicare Senior Health portfolio
Manage the product development process - including market research, competitive analysis and product requirements.
Prepare and deliver effective presentations to internal and external audiences with to gain leadership and stakeholder support.
Provide input into the annual member enrollment forecasting.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to assure promotional campaigns and advertising are targeted for success.
Establish success measures and objectives aligned with organizational growth and financial goals.
Maintain knowledge of the regional and national Medicare market landscape, new products and innovations, and consumer preferences.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
3-years’ experience in product development, taking a product idea through feasibility and implementation phases.
Market research and consumer facing product development experience
Experience leading cross functional teams
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Health care industry experience.
