Providence Health & Services Director Ecommerce in Alaska
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Ecommerce Director to one of our remote locations in WA, OR, AK, MT, CA, NM, or TX.
We are seeking an Ecommerce Director who will take ownership of all aspects of public digital scheduling, scheduling partner relationships, and delivering our patients a delightful scheduling experience, and conversion rate optimization programs. This role seeks a seasoned leader who has been able to grow new patient acquisition through digital channels within a similar healthcare organization.
This senior leadership opportunity on Providence Digital Experience (DeX) Team is positioned to drive a best in healthcare consumer experience, and be responsible for the advancement of digital patient access.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience growing ecommerce or digital acquisition channels and can lead a seasoned team of subject matter experts and external partners to bring our healthcare digital experience beyond patient expectations of ease and convenience.
EHR Management – The role of the Ecommerce Director will partner with IS, Provider, and Technology partners to extend out EHR platform (Epic) to our websites and external partners. Experience in provider relations, technology planning, and user experience will culminate in web-experiences patients being able to intuitively request healthcare appointments. Largely, you will be working with our providers (customers) and technology to develop and deploy solutions to public websites via internal and external platforms.
Scheduling Roadmap Ownership – You will own and plan the future of digital access within Providence. Critical understandings of Epic capabilities is only the beginning, as we partner and develop technology to fill any declared feature gaps when needed; you will own the roadmap that defines capability requirements, have the agency to develop or purchase new solutions, and be responsible bringing these workstreams to our digital properties.
Program Management – In overseeing the publication and means of digital access you will need to balance the needs of multiple diverse stakeholders and business needs, assimilate the needs of patients and providers into a single vision, and support the ongoing upkeep, advancement, and extensions of your vision.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
EHR Management - Build and maintain a bridge from Epic EHR to our website to support new patient scheduling and digital enrollment of new existing patients.
Merchandising- Maintain and grow partnerships with regional marketing team and physician relations teams to encourage data accuracy and develop mutually beneficial merchandising campaigns.
Reputation: Lead and establish evolving best practices to improve review performance and end user participation.
Analytics / Measurement - Responsible for ongoing refinement and performance driven campaigns to maximize patient engagement, minimize friction to success, and increase overall visibility of our services and availability, and do all of the above in a quantifiable against measurable goals.
Program Management - Experience and success managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders to timely completion while balancing key stakeholder requirements
CRO - Ability to identify and understand opportunities to trial into patient experiences to continuously increase goal performance and improve patient outcomes.
Taxonomy / Ontology / Schema - Organization and presentation of integrated web content, location, and provider directory search interfaces as well ensuring intuitive and delightful patient experiences.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or Liberal Arts or equivalent education/experience.
More than 10 years working with and improving consumer web experiences toward clearly defined business goals.
5 years Epic scheduling, templating, and configurations for online scheduling.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Admin or equivalent education/experience.
2 years Program or project managent leadership.
2 years Digital experiemntation, analysis, and findings delivery.
5 years Communicating to executive and medical director level stakeholders
